I grew up in the Central Plains, and as a child, I often saw snow and played in it. With the gradual warming of the climate, snowfall has become increasingly rare. So, I chose the Dongfeng Lake Ice and Snow World in Benxi, Liaoning, which is conveniently located and relatively inexpensive.

Benxi Dongfeng Lake Ice and Snow World is located in Xihu District, Benxi City, Liaoning Province, 8 kilometers from the city center railway station. It is very convenient for both self-driving and independent travel. It is a comprehensive resort with a large ski resort and ice entertainment area. One ticket allows unlimited access to 20 ice and snow activities, including skiing, high-altitude snow tubing, snowmobiling, snow karting, snow go-karting, snow horseback riding, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow surfing, snow rickshaws, snow bikes, ice spinning tops, ice sleds, and a super ice track.

Stepping into the Ice and Snow World, you can feel three things: lots of screams because it's so exciting; lots of laughter because it's so joyful; and lots of people because the environment is beautiful, the prices are reasonable, there are many activities, and the whole family can enjoy them.

Here, middle-aged and elderly people can find traces of their childhood; teenagers can find a place to release their passion and seek excitement; and children can find a sanctuary of joy.

The ski resort has five ski runs, including one each for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The beginner and intermediate runs are 800 meters long and approximately 50 meters wide, while the advanced run is 650 meters long and approximately 50 meters wide. Additionally, the resort features a 400-meter snowboard park and a 300-meter off-piste run. In the winter of 2009, the resort focused on developing a snow tubing area, creating a large snow tubing zone with a 15.5-meter height difference, a 43-degree slope, a 200-meter running distance, and 1000 snow tubes of various sizes, allowing skiers to experience thrilling and exciting snowboarding.
