Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong — 5 Days, Tier A

Travel from Chengdu to the giant panda base, Sanxingdui Museum or Li Bai’s former residence, Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong over five days. The current price covers Tier A accommodation for four nights, four breakfasts and four main meals, with road transport as the base itinerary and a maximum of 20 people in the group. Availability must be checked. Jiuzhaigou’s compulsory sightseeing bus is not included; a rail return to Chengdu and Tianfu transfers require separate pricing. Nightly rating sources, hotel alternatives, age restrictions and conditional gifts are detailed below.

  • Four nights in Tier A high-grade four-diamond accommodation, four breakfasts and four main meals, following each night’s stated online diamond or officially listed star rating and reference hotels.
  • Road transport and a Mandarin-speaking guide during the itinerary; entry to Sanxingdui Museum depends on group ticket reservations.
  • First-entry admission to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, the giant panda base and Sanxingdui or its stated substitute; travel accident insurance for the itinerary.
  • Dedicated arrival and departure transfers between Chengdu Shuangliu Airport or a railway station and the hotel; any solo-transfer supplement requires separate pricing.

Mandatory charges not included

  • Jiuzhaigou sightseeing bus: compulsory and not included. Seasonal charges follow the attraction’s actual pricing.

Conditional gifts

  • Tier A includes a late-night snack at the Chengdu hotel on day four. A Tier B five-diamond upgrade does not include this gift.
  • Tibetan-costume photography at Jiuzhaigou, afternoon tea at Shuzheng Village and bottled water on the vehicle are arranged according to the itinerary.
  • If group tickets cannot be reserved at Sanxingdui and the guide cannot enter, an official audio guide is provided as a gift. If admission tickets are sold out, Li Bai’s former residence replaces Sanxingdui.

Not included

  • International and other travel to and from the tour, meals not listed as included and personal spending. Children’s hotel meals and admission must be checked against their included fare scope.
  • Optional Huanglong cableway, audio guide, sightseeing bus and insurance; Jiuzhaigou insurance; panda base sightseeing bus and electronic guide are not included.
  • A day-four rail return to Chengdu and transfers to or from Tianfu or Mianyang require separate pricing.

Important information

Maximum group size: 20 people. Check availability before booking; a quote does not confirm places or acceptance. Children under two are not accepted on this high-altitude route. Travellers aged 76–85 do not visit Huanglong; health and reception conditions must be checked before payment. Children’s hotel meals and gifts follow their applicable conditions. Services are in Chinese; confirm communication needs in advance. Travellers aged 75–80 need a health check, accompanying family and a written waiver before payment; travellers aged 81+ cannot join group tours. Pregnancy, specific illnesses or major surgery within six months require advance review of reception conditions. Foreign travellers’ insurance eligibility, coverage and extra charges must be checked before pricing.

Visit the giant panda base and Sanxingdui Museum or Li Bai’s former residence, then travel by road to Jiuzhaigou. If Sanxingdui tickets are sold out, Li Bai’s former residence replaces it. Without a group ticket reservation, the guide cannot enter; an official audio guide is provided instead.

Jiuzhaigou entrance area or county town; Tier A high-grade four-diamond accommodation. Reference hotels: 星宇国际 (officially listed four stars) or 九寨沟万怡 (online four diamonds), with no five-star promise. Standard rooms by default; if full, substitute an online four-diamond hotel. The exact overnight location is subject to confirmation.
Transport
Road transport throughout; final group size at most 20 people. A vehicle with a 2+1 wide-seat layout is used. Rail travel is not in the base package.

Day 3Jiuzhaigou · Songpan

Spend the day in Jiuzhaigou, then travel to Chuanzhusi town for the night. Lunch is at your own expense; dinner is the Tibetan-household celebration or Tibetan banquet specified in the itinerary.

Chuanzhusi town; Tier A 岷江豪庭国际大酒店, rated four diamonds online. Standard rooms by default; substitute a hotel of the same online four-diamond standard if full. Special room types are not guaranteed.

Visit Huanglong, then return to Chengdu by road. Breakfast and lunch are included; dinner is at your own expense. The late-night snack at the Chengdu hotel is a conditional Tier A gift.
